  • Job Summary

    A Live Well Coach is responsible for managing all aspects of the store.  This includes the selling culture, operations, staffing, scheduling and sales/metrics performance in a single assigned store.  This key position is accountable for delivering results through effective management of store operations and Live Well Advisors while ensuring an excellent customer experience.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Customer Experience

    • Builds a store environment that is focused on consistently delivering exceptional in-store shopping experiences
    • Provides and models excellent customer service and relationship building behaviors to drive customer loyalty
    • Ensures team communication; reinforcing Advisors at every level are focused and accountable to the customer experience

    Leadership and People Management

    • Attracts, hires, develops, inspires and retains top talent
    • Models professionalism, integrity and respect for others, creating an environment that positions GNC as an employer of choice
    • Sets clear goals and expectations; provides timely and consistent performance feedback to maximize the success and selling potential of all Advisors

    Drive the Business and Deliver Results

    • Accountable to achieve or exceed store sales goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    • Build a highly satisfied and loyal customer base through engagement, effective selling techniques and conversions to drive a sustainable sales trend
    • Continually assess business performance and create action plans to improve sales, including grassroots efforts and mall marketing

    Operations

    • Manage general operations of the store, and adhere to all operational procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations
    • Manage and participate in the execution of corporate directives within designated timeframes
    • Leads the execution of visual merchandising updates to ensure the store is consistently merchandised according to visual guidelines, and holds team accountable to the standards.
    • Maintains a visually appealing store, ensuring that visual merchandising, proper housekeeping, organization and safety are kept to the highest standard
    • Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws, Code of Conduct, loss prevention policies, and operational policies and procedures.

    Job Specifications

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for supervising a team of employees.

     

    PHYSICAL ASPECTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear; and climbing ladders.
    • Regularly/Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
    • Regularly/Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold & heat, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually low/moderate.

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
    • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
    • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
    • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
    • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
    • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
    • Ability to work overtime as necessary

    Standard Qualifications Language:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • 2+ years progressive specialty retail store management experience
    • Prior managerial/supervisory experience preferred
    • Strong emphasis/experience in store operations function and/or customer service industry
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
    • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
    • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
